How parents get started

Choosing a suitable starting level

A child’s first class is not always the same course. Some children need letter recognition and early joining of letters. Others already read and need Tajweed practice. Some families want age-appropriate Islamic studies alongside, or instead of, a reading primer.

The assessment is where we recommend a starting point. Parents do not need to pick the perfect course name on the form.

How a typical online class is structured

Lessons are live and one-to-one. Session length is typically 30 minutes; a longer session can be discussed. The teacher works at the child’s pace with live correction. Parents may sit nearby for younger children, especially in the first weeks.

Choosing the right teacher

Families can request a male or female teacher where available. We aim to match learners with a suitable teacher based on their course, level, schedule, and preferences. If a match is not working well, contact support so the available options can be reviewed.

Weekly schedule and time zones

Share school hours and time zone at assessment so we can look for a realistic weekly slot. If a requested time is not available, we will discuss other options.

Learning path and course choices

Many children begin with Noorani Qaida or beginner reading, then move toward Quran reading with Tajweed. Islamic classes for kids is a separate option for age-appropriate Islamic studies. The related links below go to those course and path pages.

Fees are explained when a regular plan is being considered — not as a payment on the enquiry form.

Common questions

Is this the same as the kids’ course page?

No. This guide is for parents deciding how to start. Islamic classes for kids is age-appropriate Islamic learning for children. Noorani Qaida is the reading primer. Quran classes for beginners is a starting option for new readers of any age.

Will my child finish a book in a set number of months?

Pace depends on age, attention, home practice, and weekly class time. We do not guarantee completion dates.
