Context
What is Tajweed?
Tajweed, in this course, is the set of recitation rules used while reading the Quran — including where letters are produced and how they should sound in context. Classes do not interpret verses or issue religious rulings. The teacher listens, stops the learner on mistakes, models the sound, and has the learner repeat.
Starting point
Beginners, correction, and the Qaida relationship
A complete beginner usually needs a primer first. A learner who already reads may join Tajweed for correction rather than letter teaching. The free assessment is where we recommend which. For a side-by-side explanation, use the comparison guide — this page remains the Tajweed course owner.
