Who can join our classes in New Zealand?

School-age children

A private live class that can sit beside school and after-school commitments. Starting level is set at assessment, not assumed from age alone.

Adults who want a quiet, private class

Adults who are beginning, returning after a gap, or repairing Tajweed can work one-to-one without a local group timetable.

Households planning more than one learner

Parents can describe each learner on the assessment. We do not publish a standard sibling discount; household scheduling is discussed case by case.

New Zealand clock time

Preferred days and times, including NZST or NZDT, are discussed at assessment and arranged where a teacher slot is available. We do not promise every evening or weekend hour.

Frequently asked questions

Are online Quran classes available in New Zealand?

Yes. Families in New Zealand join live one-to-one classes from home. There is no New Zealand campus. Start with a free assessment so we can recommend a course and a realistic NZST or NZDT slot.

Are the classes private?

Yes. Regular lessons are live and one-to-one. They are not a recorded group course and not a local mosque classroom.

How long is each standard class?

Published standard classes are 30 minutes. A different length is only used if it is agreed after assessment.

What do New Zealand fees look like?

Published NZD plans for standard one-to-one classes: 8 classes/month NZ$45, 12/month NZ$65 (recommended 3 days/week), 16/month NZ$80, and 20/month NZ$90. Those figures come from the same public ERP grid as the fees page. The assessment does not charge a card.

Can we ask for a male or female teacher?

Yes. Share the preference at assessment. We arrange a male or female teacher where availability allows. Teachers are matched by the academy; you do not book a named profile from a public list.

How do New Zealand class times work?

New Zealand uses one primary civil time (NZST, with NZDT when daylight time applies). We discuss the family’s usual days and look for a compatible teacher slot. We do not advertise 24/7 availability.

What happens after the free assessment?

We recommend a starting path, discuss teacher preference, and outline next steps. Regular classes begin when that plan is agreed. An optional trial is only arranged if it would help — it is not automatic.

Do you have a New Zealand office or New Zealand teachers?

No. Learning is online. We do not operate a New Zealand office, staffed local branch, or verified locally based New Zealand teacher roster.

What New Zealand parents usually ask

Plain answers about an online academy class — not a local institute, not a teacher marketplace, and not a guaranteed after-school roster.

Is this a New Zealand branch?

No. ilmulQuran is an online academy. Families in New Zealand join a live one-to-one class from home. We do not claim a Wellington or Auckland office.

Can a child start as a complete beginner?

Yes. Many children begin with Noorani Qaida or early reading. Kids’ classes describe the children’s path. The assessment chooses the starting book — not a city-specific syllabus.

How do we book, and is there a free trial week?

Use the free assessment. There is no advertised 3-day free trial. An optional trial lesson can be arranged later only if it is useful.

Who chooses the teacher?

The academy matches the learner. You can request a male or female teacher; we arrange that where available. Read how teacher matching is described. We do not publish named New Zealand teacher profiles.

Will the time work with NZST or NZDT?

That is the point of the assessment conversation. We look for a teacher slot that can sit on New Zealand clock time. If a requested evening is full, we discuss other days rather than promising 24/7.

Where are NZD prices, and when do we pay?

The NZD grid on this page is the same public source as fees and schedules. Payment (PayPal, card, or bank transfer) is for a regular plan after assessment — not a checkout on the form.

What should we read first if we are still comparing?

The parent’s guide is the informational owner. This page stays the New Zealand commercial owner for search, ads, and referral — not a second course catalogue.
